6x5mm Butyl Mastic Lapstrip Tape – Ideal for Sealing side and end laps on metal sheeting.
Butyl Mastic provides a weathertight seal for use with coated steel, aluminium and fibre cement roofing and cladding systems in side and end lap applications.

General Data:
- For sealing side and end laps on GRP & Polycarbonate rooflights.
- For sealing roof sheets
- For sealing perimeter flashings
- For sealing steel gutter joints.
- All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from frost, grease & loose material before application.
- The product should be unwound and lightly pressed into position leaving the release paper in place. On forming the joint the release paper is removed and the closing surface pushed firmly in place, pressure applied along the length of the joint and mechanically fixed.
- Application temperature range +4°C to + 40°C

- CARAVAN – manufacturers have many applications such as sealing between mouldings and the outer
skin, lap joints on the body work and other areas where fittings are attached piercing the outer skin.
