This socket driver has a magnet to retain conventional carbon steel, ferromagnetic metal screws, and for stainless steel, non-ferromagnetic screws, the ball bearing offers enough pressure and resistance to retain the screw in the socket while allowing enough movement to release the screw when fixed in place.
